After three days of sailing Giovanni Soldini is alone in the lead of the Artemis Transat for the Class 40. His boat "Telecom Italia" has got almost 20 nautical miles of advantage on the first of his chasers.

In the Imoca group the situation is much more uncertain, with 3 boats in less than one nautical mile and 6 boats in less than 5 nm.
