Big Boat Challenge: warming up for the big race.

While here in europe we're dealing with rain, snow and all the annoying aspects of the winter, in Sydney (lucky them!) they are yacht racing under beautiful conditions in the amazing setting of the Sydney harbour for the SOLAS Big Boat Challenge 2008.
However this is just a warming up, and the big event still has to come. Infact, like every year, one day after Christmas the legendary Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race will take its start, and a fleet composed by the fiercest crews of the southern emisphere will breast the 630 nautical miles between Sydney and the Tasmanian harbour of Hobart, in a race that, together with the Rolex Fastnet Race for the northern emisphere, is probably the most spectacular regatta
