Here we are again! Like in 2009 and in 2010, thousands of people (more than 17000 this year!) have gathered in the little german town of Braunlage for the third edition of the world championship of the craziest winter sport ever: Nude Sledging!

Yuck!

This is indeed a funny concept... but, come on, the idea of drinking the dentures rinse water is not so enticing...! Not to mention what the kid and the dog are doing...
However it's for sure a nice idea for a laugh with your friends.

Everybody knows that, with some exceptions, cats hate water deeply and sometimes are intolerant of just getting wet. However cats generally keep themselves perfectly clean so a bath could only be necessary in extreme cases, for example when they get bombarded by fleas or ticks, or get into substances that are toxic or otherwise harmful.

After "The most embarassing moment in the history of mankind" and "The most embarassing moment in the history of mankind... second place!" the new experience to laugh your head off (if you are not the protagonist of course..) is set at the wedding... the perfect place for an Epic Fail!

The slip of the best man is ridicolous enough in and of itself, but having pushed the pastor and the bride in the pool, transform him in the worst best man ever (in his defence it must be said that probably the choice of the place has been a little unwise...)

It seems more a nightmare than reality but it actualy happened yesterday in Vail, Colorado. A skier a was left dangling upside down and pantsless from a chairlift last Thursday morning. It appears that the chairlift's fold-down seat was somehow not in the lowered position, which caused the man to partially fall through the resulting gap. His right ski got jammed in the ascending chairlift, and that kept him upended since his boot never dislodged from its binding. The exposed skier was stuck for about 15 minutes before Vail personnel backed the lift up and successfully dislodged the unidentified man from the four-seat chair.
Could you really imagine something more embarrassing ?!?

The Snowman's Nightmare

Stumbling on across the internet I've found this funny picture. Congratulations to the author!
What's best is that it recalled me those wonderful strips of Calvin and Hobbes in which Calvin creates snowmen and puts them in scenes where they were dying or suffering in grotesque ways. It was a regular appointment of every winter, in the ten years the strip was published, Calvin and Hobbes always started creating entire worlds of snowmen. In my opinion those deeply surrealistic stripes were really amazing and propbably the best ones of the whole collection.
If you do not know anything about Calvin and Hobbes, the comic strip written and illustrated by Bill Watterson, about Calvin, an imaginative six-year old boy, and Hobbes, his energetic and sardonic stuffed tiger, you're probably from another planet and for sure you've lost one of the best comic strips ever.

The flying penguins of the BBC

On the first of this month, there have been more April fools than probably ever, almost every media created its own silly story and some of them were really well performed. My favourite one has been certainly the BBC story of the flying penguins. To launch their BBC iPlayer, they have created a documentary presented by Terry Jones (ex Monty Python) where the penguins not only take flight from the Antarctic wastes, but fly thousands of miles to the Amazonian rainforest to find winter sun.
