Longtze Premier at the Primo Cup
Photo Carlo Borlenghi
We've already spoken, a week ago, about the XXV Primo Cup - Trophée Credit Suisse, a famous regatta which is the biggest gather of monotypes in the Mediterranean Sea. In this second weekend of racing weather conditions have been much better for sailing, with sunny and windy days (although very very cold!). The attention have been particularly gathered by the Longtze Premier, a new class of boat at their first ever regatta in European water. These little and colourful boats are very interesting for their approach quite different from the mainstream, being built to have a very affordable price. The boat is based on an original design from Steve Thompson (NZ) further developed by the America’s Cup CHINA TEAM. The LONGTZE Premier is manufactured in China with a Swiss–like precision to bring you the best of the new world at an affordable price. The following pictures by Carlo Borlenghi show us how was the weekend in Montecarlo's waters, with these little chinese boats and the other class too.
