Australia's Sunshine Coast faces natural disaster

Australia's Sunshine Coast is stricken by tidal wave of oil after that 30 metric tons of oil were lost when containers slipped from the Pacific Adventurer ship.

The government has already declared the area, a popular surf region. a disaster zone, including Moreton and Bribie islands, which are national parks.

The spill, that is "substantially" larger than first estimated, came ashore late Friday. The slick has contaminated about 60 kilometers of beach and mangroves.
