A man plunged 180 feet over Niagara Falls and survived - but then fought rescuers as they pulled him from the icy water. Only a careful manoeuvre by a private helicopter pilot enabled rescuers to pull the man out of the water.Hovering close by, its rotor blades produced a blast of wind strong enough to divert the current and push him closer to shore.
